IndiGo to Launch Daily Direct Flights Between Kolkata and Phuket, Expanding Connectivity to Thailand

IndiGo has announced the introduction of daily direct flights between Kolkata and Phuket, starting December 27. This new service is the airline's second direct flight to the popular Thai destination, after the successful launch of flights from Delhi. Expanding Travel Options to Thailand

Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo's Head of Global Sales, emphasized the strategic importance of this new route, expressing excitement about increasing connectivity between India and Thailand. The daily Kolkata-Phuket flight will complement the airline's 11 weekly services to Bangkok, bringing the total number of weekly flights between India and Thailand to 93. Phuket, Thailand's largest island, is famous for its pristine beaches and vibrant cultural scene, making it an attractive destination for travelers. The visa-free entry for Indian citizens further fuels demand for travel to the region, and IndiGo aims to tap into this growing interest by offering affordable, punctual, and seamless travel options.
